The Sounds are a swedish band consisting of Maja Ivarsson, Felix Rodriguez, Johan Bengtsson, Jesper Anderberg, and Fredrik Nilsson. They remind me a lot of Blondie. Their music consists of rock tunes with a new wave touch, consistent with the inclusion of a syntheseizer. This is distinct and heard from the first moment you pop their music in. With songs such as the title track: Living in America, Riot, Hope You're Happy Now and Dance With Me, The Sounds put together an impressive mix of major chords, crazy sounds from the Syntheseizer and the singing of Maja Ivarsson. You should expect to hear some of The Sounds Songs in the new Errr Productions video Idiosyncratic Thought.
