So the long expected and great punk fest of the year has come and gone and let me say it was great. The only things wrong were the losers and the food. At some of the highly overcharged places the food would just reek of crap, I swear I had a funnel cake and I could have sworn there was terrible as hell rum in it. And I know rum sounds good at first but with some things it just sucks and bad rum is just terrible.

Aside from the food, and the idiots there pissed me the fuck off. Some valley girls were present and some of them wouldn't do anything but fudge up the lyrics to the song I.E. during the "Starting Line" chorus the dumb fucks would just be like LALALALALA and I along with others were like What the Fuck.

Other than those two things, it was a blast. I mean, next year I will fill up on food before I go but hey it was worth the wait. And one of the great things was that if there was nothing you wanted to see you could just go and watch the skaters skate.Speaking of Skaters there was one guy who was Syco status. Picture doing a 540-tail grab, then picture doing it with one real leg the other was Prosthetic. Now that's good. There was another guy who would get the mean amount of air. All in all it was a great skating event. I mean nothing compared to real demos but if you don't want to listen to what's playing it was worth the watch.

And the PS2 tent was kind of fun but I had a rule that if I saw you in it on the way to a stage and on the way back in it I would think of you as a loser. No one came there to play video games but to watch Rancid and all the great ones. Hey at least they chose the right console to publicize. I was surprised Gates didn't get his grimy hands into it and relived at the same moment.

One other complaint of mine was the wait but hey 2 hours on a line is worth it. And I would do it again. The music was great and exciting and would get your adrenaline pumping and would get you hyped up and just make you want to stay. But regrettably I got overwhelmed and was tired like 6 hours into it, I know I am weak.

Well, let's get back to the bands that's what we went there for RIGHT??? Well there were so many, I went there for rancid above all I know that's such a cliché. But hey they were great.

Tsunami Bomb was pretty good but it sounded as if Agent M had Laryngitis. The Starting line was decent I mean they got really into the crowd and I think I might have broke my neck from one of the surfers but its all good. Now Thrice was awesome. I really have no complaints about the music since that's what the wait is for and if you don't like get your ass to a different stage. That's all I have to say. And that's what was so great if you didn't like the music that was playing where you were you could go to 3 other stages and 3 tents.

On a scale of ten it deserves an 8. 8/10 Could use better food Have patience for the losers VANS holds a good event Brandnew sucked ass AND WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!
